You will be reviewed in clinic. You will do a 14 day sleep diary (time you go to the bedroom, time you go to sleep, duration of time you wake up after sleep onset, time you wake up finally for the day, time you get up out of bed, nap durations, medications, exercise and medications, and sometimes light exposure). You will wear a special watch that will monitor your activity and exercise and positions to assist with sleep diary interpretation (actigraphy). You will fill out questionnaires based on your symptoms and severity (Patient Reported Outcome Measures).
You will be guided on basic lifestyle interventions, undertake cognitive behavioural therapy either online slef help or with the help of a therapist, or I will prescribe you medications to aid you with your sleep (in some circustances only).
